Job Description

A Front-End Web Developer in eTranzact is someone who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. As a Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in an application. You will work with the UI/UX designer, bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides, while putting into consideration visual appeal and usability. We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, curious about new digital technologies and aspire to combine usability with visual design. Ultimately, you should be able to create a functional and attractive digital environment for our company, ensuring great user experience. You will work closely with various members of this organization to play a key role in the successful launch of applications.

Responsibilities
  • Use a variety of programming and markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages.
  • Create/Build high-quality mockups and design different prototypes.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Develop new user-facing features.
  • Design mobile-based features.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Work with back-end developers on coding and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
  • Maintain applications and implement any necessary additions or enhancements.
  • Keep abreast of latest and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain and improve company website.
  • Provide high-quality graphics and visual elements
Skills and Qualifications
  • BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • 4+ years in a front end development role.
  • Portfolio or samples of past work and projects.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment), with emphasis on front end design and development.
  • Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript,(compulsory) Adobe Suite, Photoshop (Added advantage) and various content management systems
  • Proficiency with Angular/ReactJS/SASS
  • Ability to interpret and implement web designs
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with designers, developers, and other relevant staff members or clients
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
